Manic
Depression and Creativity
Uk
Can
by D. Jablow Hershman, Julian Lieb "I
read this book as a hard cover when it was aptly named The Key to Genius
Manic Depression and the Creative Life. I found it very informative and
well written in layman's terms. In the end one learns that nothing comes
easy and with out a price even for the best of them. Hershman delivers
them as artists and Lieb dissects them as a scientist. I did earn this,
genius is a funny thing. In the beginning you think it's crazy as time
passes and evolution sets in, you realize that we just did not have the
ability to comprehend at the time. As the Cliché goes "genius is never
realized in its own time". For those who have delusions of how great it
would be to be a genius be prepared to be disillusioned. You feel for
these people and the suffering they had endured to bring us their work
that we so love. It leaves one humbled. All in all "WOW" an enlightening
read."

Everything
You Need to Know About Bipolar Disorder
Uk
Can
by Michael A. Sommers "Review
for Everything you wanted to know about Bipolar Disorder. In reviewing
this book after I read it I found it to be very informative and simplistic
to understand for the everyday layman and how to investigate for yourself
to discover if you may be Bipolar and what steps to look for and how to
obtain help and what directions to take to get help. This book I would
definitely recommend to the everyday person to find out what Bipolar Disorder
really is."

her husband's life and leap to the next generation to nearly destroy her

full recovery--within weeks. This important book includes: startling new

Mood
Swing
Uk
Can
by Ronald R. Fieve, M.D. (Excellent book describing manic depression
and treatment in detail. Originally written in 1975 and has been revised
and updated since with new information. "The psychiatrist recommended
that I read Moodswing, by Dr. Ronald Fieve. Immediately I bought a copy
of the book - my hunger for the truth caused me to devour the book like
a starving child - it was so well written and had such helpful information
I consumed each page as if my life depended on it. To my amazement, I
recognized my mother in almost every chapter, sometimes feeling as if
Dr. Fieve was actually writing about her! Reading Moodswing gave me comfort
and hope because my mother's erratic behavior suddenly had a name and
a treatment. After reading Moodswing I understood, for the first time,
why Mom behaves the way she does and what causes the "different"
behavior. If you or someone you love is bipolar, you must read this book.
It could save a life - it will most definitely change yours for the better)."
