Natalie Jean Mardell Pheil
My birthday should be 10/15/03. Here I am at 7 weeks old. But will probably
be end of September
I have a heart defect. Its either Tetralogy of Fallot or Truncus Arteriosus.
They'll tell us when we go to Seattle for the big appointment. Depending on what
the say I will need surgery either right after birth or a couple months later
when I'm bigger. So because of that I'll have to be born in Seattle because
there aren't any Pediatric Cardiac Surgeons here in Yakima. So they'll strart
checking near the end of September to see my when my lungs are ready to be born.
Mom and dad have to keep their bags packed cause when the Dr says go we go.
Right
now I'm doing fine cause mom takes care of all my blood we were conceived around 1/25/03. The reason I say "we" is that there were 3 or 4 of us that first month. But my mom thinks I'm bossy and kicked the others out. Because of that my mom and dad had a rough time for a week because of bleeding and stuff. But I'm healthy and I have a good heart rate. Because there were so many of us to start, mom got as big as a house the first month and developed other problems you don't see usually till later in pregnancy (swollen ankles, tiredness, etc). Mom had to buy maternity clothes very quickly. Here is a picture of mom at only 2 months pregnant.
If I'm a girl then I'm going to be named Natalie Jean Mardell after my great grandmother and two of my grandmothers, this will make me a 4th generation Mardell. If I'm a boy I'm going to be named Loren Robert after my great great grandfather (He was a famous firefighter in Stockton who died on duty saving other firefighters in 1947, he has a statue) and my great grandfather.
I don't like spicy foods or salsa music and give mom a bad time over those. I don't like to lay on my side. Mom sometimes has to sleep in the recliner because of this. I like sweets cause I give mom cravings for them, though I'm not picky, sometimes its donuts, sometimes its Oreo Blizzards. Mostly I'm just hanging out.
