Ex with Possible BPD

I am divorced and have had counseling from the effects off the separation and divorce. The counselor that I am working with has thought that my ex-wife has Borderline Personality Disorder, so I am trying to learn more about it. I attempted to find what symptoms show with someone like that and have recently ordered Stop Walking on Eggshells: Taking Your Life Back When Someone You Care About Has Borderline Personality Disorder  by Paul T. Mason, Randi Kreger. Can you help me identify some of the symptoms which may be apparent to BPD?

Your counselor should be working with you and your issues. S/he should not be attempting to diagnose your ex-wife in abstentia in order to provide a framework for your current concerns. While your ex-wife's behavior may inform your current state of mind, it is that current state of mind that should be the focus of your conversations.

I'm not prepared to answer your question, as, in my mind, it would be enabling what I consider to be a questionable, if not wholly inappropriate, therapeutic tactic.
