Need Treatment For BPD

I was diagnosed with BPD 2 years ago and have been in treatment up until 2 weeks ago when I moved to West Virginia. I have been unable to find a therapist or psychiatrist and have stopped my medication. I am trying to get my life together and am thinking about not going back into therapy and going back to school. Do you think this is a safe way to do things? I learned a lot of skills in therapy and intend to continue using them. In a way I feel confident that I can make it, but in a way I am scared that some of my old behaviors will resurface. What advice can you give me?

Rule #1...therapists don't give advice. I can tell you it is inadvisable for you to stop your meds without the supervision of a physician. Thirdly, you are in a new environment...you feel good and everything is white. What are you going to do when things start to split black on you? You need to ask yourself if you honestly feel you will be able to cope. I'm not saying you won't, nor am I suggesting that you are doomed to be a slave to your disorder forever. I am saying the BP is a notorious self-deceiver...especially in a white world. Know this. Know yourself. Then decide.
