My name is Sam and I am a 40 year old male.

Diagnosed in USA with Bipolar I Disorder. Lost family, job, career and property in Japan. Suffered one other breakdown about 9 months later. Fortunately I have been without hospitalization for almost 7 years (just twice ever). Became a licensed psychologist. And returned to work in Japan. Recent symptoms mostly of anxiety and depression (manic symptoms rare). Developed (undiagnosed) binge eating disorder as well and struggle with alcohol use issues. I tolerate lithium very well and also use Lexapro (few side effects) for depression (magnified living abroad it seems).
