My mother is bi-polar, a self mutilator, depressed, a recovering drug addict, verbally abusive, mentally abusive, and this has been going on since I was young. I know what someone my age is going through, and I understand the hurt and anger one may feel. it's hard for someone to try and understand when they couldn't even imagine what it is like to live with someone who has this disorder.
