My name is Lauren, I am a 21 yr. old female, College Student.

I was misdiagnosed with situational depression for 5 1/2 years and was on every medication imaginable for that. I was put on Effexor and a new doctor diagnosed me as Bipolar and that the medication was making me a walking coma. I am on new meds, but had to deal with the withdrawals of getting off Effexor, which was unbearable. I am affected with this everyday and have new walls that I hit everyday and have to overcome. Some days are really bad, and some days I can actually go all day without getting upset or angry. It depends though. I am lucky to have the most incredible man on earth in love with me, and it's hard to see what this does to him. So I have first-hand knowledge of how it affects those you love. It helps me to talk to people, so I would really love to be a volunteer. I am just now dealing with adult ADD, being a college student it has affected my grades tremendously, but more it has affected my everyday sanity.
