Hi, My name is Heather. I am 18 years old and live in Canada. I've
been struggling with Depression since I was 8 years old. It wasn't long
after that when my older sister was also diagnosed with Depression. I
think it was because of this background that drove me to learn as much as
I could. I have taken a few counseling courses and am currently enrolled
in a crisis volunteer program near my home town. I welcome email from
anyone. Whether you yourself suffer from depression or are a
family member or friend of a sufferer, or simply someone who has questions
for a project. Although I must admit, I don't have all the answers; I
simply want to reply to your emails and let you know that you are never
alone. I am not a professional, but I would like to help if I can.
