My name is Bridget, I am a 43 yr. old female. 

I am a bipolar disorder sufferer. I wish to exchange e-mail wither other sufferer. I am a 43 year old female. I only speak English. I was diagnosed in 1990, but had problems in all my years of growing up. I am currently on topamax, abilify, serequil, gabitril, and ambiem at night. So far this combination seems to be working well for me. I am also on a low dose of effexor (37.5 mg) I get manic a lot when I don't sleep and I have a lot of difficulty sleeping, even with the ambiem sometimes. My doc seems to think the topamax and gabitril will work together to stabilize my mood, both of these are new to me. I can't take lithium as I got toxic on it several years ago.
