My name is Ron, I am a 63 yr. old male. 

I'm bipolar, Type 1, with mixed episodes, and at times an ultra-rapid-cycler. I'm 63 y/o and am a survivor of sexual, physical, and emotional abuse. Currently starting with a new therapist so the journey starts over again. From my own experiences I understand the intense emotional pain we can suffer, and like most others I also know the highs. What we don't understand is the terrible cost to our mental and physical health without the regimen of medications, therapy, good diet, and exercise. I've learned to be more gentle and accepting of myself and others.
