I'm Becky, a 43 year old female from Texas who was diagnosed Bipolar in January 1997. I suffered years of ups and downs before a wonderful Psychiatrist diagnosed me. I have been on many different types of medication and within the last year I have found a group of meds that work for me. I feel like I have a handle on the illness and understand the different meds that treat bipolar. I have a very supportive family, but I am hesitant to tell friends or coworkers.
